An architectural marvel in itself, the villa is set in steps cascading down the cliff like paddy terraces and took over 18 months to build. That awe is well deserved. Firstly, it is huge, at 700 sq m (7,534 sq ft) and secondly you have the 180-degree ocean views. It literally appears as though the Indian Ocean has just been laid at your feet; a wide and endless aqua blue sea. A 25 metre infinity-edge pool has its long sides pouring out seaward. A mere glimpse is surely an invitation to sit in the inset Jacuzzi and try to figure out where the sea, the horizon and the pool edge meet. Once out of the water, there is a long ironwood sundeck, complete with a bale and lawn all offering equally splendid views. With a guest capacity of 50, a more dramatic setting for a glamorous party, wedding or other event would be hard to imagine.
